The real cost of renewable energy

Michael has been in the press this week talking to Renewable Energy Installer Magazine, restating the compelling environmental and financial case for switching to biomass.

Notwithstanding the still generous Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI) payments eligible homeowners can receive from Government, there is a really compelling case for switching to a renewable energy heating system.

In most cases, most or all of the cost of the installation is recouped over 7 years via the domestic RHI Scheme. In fact some lucky applicants even make money! Then there is the lower ongoing operating cost, compared with a fossil fuel system.

And if a greener lifestyle choice appeals to you, a 90% reduction in carbon emissions, compared with a fossil fuel boiler, is yet another compelling reason for considering biomass.
