Yorkshire Heat Pumps in the press

Michael Wright has been in the press again this week, talking to The Yorkshire Times about the incorporation of renewable heating technologies in barn refurbishments, and why this is the perfect time to consider renewables for your home.

Yorkshire Heat Pumps has seen a surge in the number of homeowners looking to incorporate renewable heating technologies into their refurbishments or developments since the government announced, last year, that they would extend their Renewable Heat Incentive Scheme to domestic properties.

The domestic RHI Scheme went live on 9th April, and thus far, over 1,300 renewable heating systems have been approved. These happy homeowners are now set to receive quarterly payments over seven years for energy generated by their heat pump, solar thermal panels or biomass boiler.

Converting or refurbishing a property is the perfect time to incorporate renewables. Now domestic RHI - which can deliver a positive return on investment as well as covering the cost of installation - adds an additional incentive.
